Banani is surrounded by people building, questioning, creating, and reimagining what comes next. We want to bring those voices together and give their ideas the stage, audience, and attention they deserve.
Meaningful change often begins with a single thought shared at the right time. TEDxBanani brings together people from different fields and different walks of life to exchange perspectives, challenge assumptions, and discover connections that might not happen otherwise.
At its heart, this is about building a culture of curiosity: a place where ambitious ideas are welcomed, unexpected voices are heard, and conversations can spark something bigger.

What was missing was a space to bring those ideas together, give them a platform, and let them travel further.
What began as a conversation about creating that space grew into a shared ambition: an independently organised TEDx platform rooted in Banani, but open to ideas from across Dhaka and beyond.
